Dnes přišla zpráva od EPBF, s tím, že turnaj Euro Tour v Sankt Johann im Pongau byl zrušen.
Dear members,
Given the latest developments in the Covid-19 Pandemic, Europe-wide and therefore also in Austria, we have had to conclude that, despite our good intentions, it is still too early to organize Euro Tour events.
It is clear that the health of athletes, coaches, staff and the all others involved is the highest priority. When determining the course of an event in the current Covid-19 pandemic, we must be convinced that the risks to be taken and the probability of incidents (in case of infections) are as small as possible. Given the previously addressed revival of Covid-19 infections Europe-wide, the risk of incidents (infections) is only increasing.
In view of this development, other risks to be taken, such as financial risks, for the Athletes, EPBF members, local organizer and the IBPF, are also increasing. All things considered, we have concluded that hosting the Euro Tour events in October, with the current knowledge and developments, is not wise to do. Therefore we herewith confirm the cancellation of the above mentioned events in October 2020.
We do thank the local host for their efforts and help with the planning of the event. We are looking forward to be a guest again in 2021 in Sankt Johann im Pongau.
